In the backwoods of of Ohio exists a world of skaters that live by their own rules, and this place is called Skatopia Skate Park. This is a place where the only rules are that there are no RULES! The photographer Stacy Kranitz has explored this insane place and now we all can see what goes on there through her lens. Her style of photography is so up close and personal I can almost smell the stench coming off these skaters! Check out these rad photos of these outsiders that live to skate. Much respect due to Stacy for taking these amazing flicks. The word on the street is that she is also coming with a zine and a video of her time at Skatopia, which I’m personally looking forward to peeping! Stacy’s exhibition From The Study On Post-Pubescent Manhood is up now at Little Big Man Gallery in L.A..

a place of legend. I remember the owner of one of the parks I used to ride at coming back with footage in the early 00’s. it was nothing like this madness though.

The photos bring forth a very Gummo-esque vibe.

Played/skated/partied there almost 20 years ago. Still have never experienced anything quite like it. Still going strong!
