With hardly two months having passed since Southwest Terror Fest‘s last iteration, which featured Neurosis, Goatsnake and Sunn O))) among others, the time has come to begin unveiling the unholiness that the fest’s next installment will offer. CVLT Nation, on behalf of Southwest Terror Fest presenter David Rodgers (of Godhunter), would like to announce the first band for 2015’s festival, Bongripper, in their first ever Arizona appearance. Hailing from Chicago, this quartet has been puffing out their own unique stoner-sludge-doom since 2005, with dizzying results. With seven full-length albums under their belt, including this year’s Miserable, Bongripper are poised to hotbox Arizona this coming October.
