Remember the tapetrading days when some bloke from Poland, Holland, Norway or just a neighbour in your village filled the gap at the end of the tape with some random songs? Sometimes these songs were utter crap, but from time to time they were unheard treasures that made you search all available trading lists, fanzines and post-order stores, to get that gem in your tapedeck. Cvlt Nation’s mixtapes remind me of those days, and our contribution is a selection of bands, some of them with demos or limited-released material, that we would use to fill those famous gaps for this unknown penpal.
