I’m fascinated by all forms of body modification, but one that I find the most beautiful is scarification. I’m drawn by the transformation it embodies, from raw flesh to scarred skin. Scars At Their Finest is a tumblr that features pictures of interesting and provocative scarification. This collection of images includes work from a scarification artist I just discovered and I’m looking forward to delving deeper into, Chase Suarez. You should post healed photos not just fresh ones as scarification does NOT always heal as we want it to. As one of the artists whose work you have featured, in this post, you should also give all of us credit if you are going to be using our photos.

While some look cool, some look stupid, but either way their skin. I do think some of the big ones are going to cause some issues as these people age.
Personally, I look forward to micro dermal displays and LEDs.

I must say that I find some scarififcation to be quite cool, and then some that really just don’t look all that good. The scars over the eyes and on the cheeks as well as general scarification on the forehead don’t look that good. THen again, subjective opinion
