Walking down differenct streets around the world, one thing never changed for me. I would always look at the walls around me to take in the street art and listen to how it spoke to me. There have been times when I’m looking at building in Tokyo and I noticed that one of my NYC homies left his mark. I have also become fascinated by the fact that that no matter what country you are in, street art reigns supreme. One of my favorite artists of all time is ROA. They way he uses the environment as a piece of art unto itself gets me hyped. Then there are his lines plus his use of black and white. Something about what he does makes me think the CRASS covers. I get a sense of punk urgency when I look at his pieces. Today, CVLT Nation celebrates ROA for making the world a huge art gallery!
