One band that set hardcore on fire in the 90’s was Sweden’s REFUSED. When you check out their resume, you’ll see they were always about doing things outside of the box. Although they never lacked power in their music even when they were experimenting with other genres. I won’t front, I got turned on to them late, but I will say that from the first time I heard them I was more than hooked, I was addicted. Even to this day, you throw on some Refused & it will leave you saying unholy shit these dudes are rad as fuck! I never got to see them live, but from what I have been able to see on video, their live shows were electric. These dudes also kept it DIY, and for that you have to give their props. The influence that this band had on music can still be heard to this day. So check this – CVLT Nation is extra happy to be showing a documentary about their last tour, Refused Are Fucking Dead, plus some killer live footage that I had to throw in because it just gets me so hyped! So after the jump, get ready to move like it’s 1995 & enjoy the gnarly documentary.
