Don’t get it twisted and think that sunny Los Angeles is all about palm trees and suntans. Ever since Reagan cut funds to help the mentally challenged, and now that the state has gone into bankcorruptancy, things have gone from bad to worse. I guess you could say that the rich are eating the poor! We have a tradition in the this city of hardcore bands taking a stand against this the powers that be. In the vein of rebellion and anti-system, the L.A. hardcore duo It’s Casual has just come out with a new new video for their song “The New Los Angeles,” directed by Robert Schober. This video shows what’s really happening in this city, plus the song itself is fucking off of the chain! Also, for all westside CVLT Nation readers, It’s Casual will be rocking the Troubador stage this Wed, Oct 12th, along with Of the horizon, Aeges, Gfp and Auto Modown.
