Vintage Steel Portraits of Women & Bikes!

I saw all sorts of shit on the boardwalk of Venice Beach during the 70’s & 80’s. There was never a shortage of weirdos or characters to stare at or talk to. What I loved about growing up in this environment was the community’s high tolerance for people who did not fit into mainstream culture. Everyone had their own mode of transportation, from roller skates, skateboards,VW vans to motorcycles. Being the kind of kid I was, I was not afraid to speak to someone who looked like a biker. In reality, I was more drawn to the freaks then the squares. When I think of the 70’s, I can’t help but remember how really good looking women happened to always be around dudes with motorcycles, which also reminds me about the time I saw a leather-clad biker momma riding her hog down Windward Blvd – I fell in love instantly.
