Someday, somehow, I will make it to Washington D.C. for the DAMAGED CITY Fest. It’s so inspiring that they were able to put this line up together with unreal new and old bands. This year, the Avengers performed, and from what I can see and hear they were totally on point! This fest is put together by punx for punx, and I will never get bored of seeing our tribes gather to celebrate each other and the music they love! Just like in the 80’s, the scene is bringing together creative humans from all over to document what’s happening. Case in point, our comrades from Boston, Angela Owens and Ryan (At the Boiler Room) traveled to the fest, while Michael Andrade was also on hand with his video camera. This is a message to DAMAGED CITY Fest: don’t stop because you can’t STOP! It’s now time to check out this massive video essay with a horde of AMAZING BANDS!
