A couple of weeks ago, we reviewed the killer new album by King Dude, Love, a release that’s full of dark folk jewels. One of the stand out tracks, “Big Blue Eyes,” is catchy as fuck and has a radical video, directed by Alice Cohen. The D.I.Y direction of the video, mixed with the tongue-in-fangs editing style, fits perfectly with the lyrics. King Dude has found an awesome way to marry sinister words with huge black clouds of melody. Check this out, he is kicking off a mini West Coast tour this week, so make sure you peep his live show!
