With their world-renowned brand of death/doom metal from Japan, COFFINS will start recording their new album “THE FLESHLAND” with Noise Room Studio. They are currently in the midst of recording vocals, and the album is scheduled to be completed in January 2013, released via Relapse Records. We are bringing you a pre-production demo of “Colossal Hole” off the new album as an exclusive Kultivation preview! Even in the preproduction stage, COFFINS’ music is compelling. The jacket artwork is by the world heavyweight in death and black metal illustration, Chris Moyen. In summer 2013, COFFINS will launch an open-air festival tour at Germany’s PARTY SAN festival. On January 26, 2013, COFFINS will perform at The Battle of Orochi at Antiknock in Shinjuku, come out to support the magazine and the band!
