Despite the very sanitized view of the past that our forebears promote to us youngsters, we know that there have always been people who defied society’s norms. Many people were attracted to the flip side of God’s light, whether that be a scientific atheism or the worship of the Prince of Darkness himself. This video has been floating around on internet porn sites for a while, and apparently there is no information available about its origins, other than it appears to have been filmed in the early 20th Century. It hardly qualifies as porn in my opinion, but maybe that’s because I have an appreciation for the subject matter. So I thought I’d bring it to you, our readers who are so well versed in the darkest of subject matters, to see if anyone knows where this segment of film comes from…let us know in the comments!

I think it’s just a short erotic film as they did a lot at that time in France. Witchcraft and esoterism was quite big in Paris, so it’s just a combination of these two.
Something i actually noticed if you play that film and start the song black mass of electric wizard at the same time, “lucifer” appears when sang and the song runs 6 minutes..like the film.

As far as I was aware it was made as a ‘private use’ film for a member of the film industry. These kind of things do turn up occasionally, they are staged events, as you can tell from the way the film is cut. Quite a few of these vignettes have turned up over the years especially from the roaring twenties….
