It’s no secret that the L.A.P.D. has had a long history of racism and police brutality against the non-white humans of this city! This is why during the late 80’s and early 90’s, N.W.A. became a household name in the City of Dead Angels, and then nationwide. I was never a fan of all of their music – especially the misogynist overtones – but I was fucking into their anti-authority anthem FUCK THE POLICE. N.W.A. told the world that the people of South Central had enough of being mistreated, and shit was about to explode. Then the Rodney King verdict came in, and everything went up in flames. I also give Eazy E props for starting Ruthless Records and changing the face of the music industry with Dr. Dre by his side. I recently watched the documentary N.W.A. The World’s Most Dangerous Group and said to myself, this is something that everyone should check out, even if they aren’t fans of Hip Hop. So after the jump, get your Gangsta Gangsta on and peep the ruthless documentary…
