Mixtape of the Day: IMMORTAL BIRD

We love mixtapes here at CVLT Nation; maybe it’s because we’re old and nostalgic, but there’s nothing that’s a more enjoyable window to the soul than a good mixtape. Today we have an eclectic and entertaining mixtape made for us by IMMORTAL BIRD. It’s got tracks you’ve heard and love, which is personally my favourite kind of mixtape – it’s not trying to school me, just make me bang my head. Read what Rae from Immortal Bird has to say about the mix below:

I decidedly don’t possess any kvlt credibility when it comes to the music selected for this mixtape. Plenty of people have heard of the bands I listen to, and I know I’m not breaking any new ground by name-dropping Converge. Still, I know what I like, and these tunes have been on my heavy rotation for awhile. Some of them have influenced Immortal Bird, some haven’t, but all are jams that make me feel some type of way.
