Ground zero for heavy music last week was the Maryland Death Fest X – so many killer bands performed, many people probably lost their minds. I know there were too many of my favorite bands performing that it would have been hard for me to choose who to go see. Today, CVLT Nation wants to celebrate Maryland Death Fest X with a huge video essay featuring Godflesh, Electric Wizard, Eyehategod, Noothgrush and many more. All of the footage was shot by a fan, but the quality is off the chain. So kick back, spark a spliff and peep the mayhem after the jump! Also stay tuned for our MDF parking lot coverage coming soon…

man, I so wanted to go this year. Missing Godflesh is literally like missing out on the second coming.
The Devil’s Blood = awesome band. Saw ’em open for Behemoth and they killed it!
