Keith Utech is putting on the first ever Utech Records Music Festival, scheduled for June 11 at the Cactus Club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The line up for this fest is off the chain & will be a clinic of avant garde sounds. To mark this very special event, Keith will be releasing some killer music leading up to the fest with some of the stellar bands that will take the stage that day. The first release, set to come out the day of the fest, is entitled New Dominions – it’s a one sided collaboration album between Locrian & Horseback. The first track, “Gift”, is a haunting epic of a song that will give you chills. If I had to compare this song to a movie, just pick your favorite Alfred Hitchcock film & that’s how “Gift” will make you feel. “Our Epitaph” is the second song on New Dominions, and when I first heard it I felt as if my mind was trapped in a medieval monastery with the gargoyles coming alive & chanting; and at the end I picture dark caves where the ancient hieroglyphics speak. After the jump, check out the lyrics to these rad compositions.

Track Listing:
A1: The Gift
A2: Our Epitaph
1. The Gift
Dead Plain,
Empty Landscape Like
An Open Palm,
Accept this Gift, a
Blood Token of Thanks
2. Our Epitaph
Tremors of Sky
Punctuated by Flares
Above Primeval Ruins
Once Spectral and Sacred
Now Exiled by Holy Fire
Now Engulfed in an Embrace
of Genocidal Subdivision
The Hollow Carcass
Of a Now Extinct Colossus
That Cuts a Fresh Canyon
Into the Sediment
Corroding an Abyss
Of Incalculable Midden
Saline Beds and White Tanks
Evaporating Flames
New Dominions
In the Atmosphere
Looming Overhead
Contaminated Blazes
Neverending Silver Towers
Breathing Fire in the sky
Mountains of Sulfur
Distilled beneath Dead Air
These Formations bear Witness
To Our Epitaph
To Our Epitaph
Horseback and Locrian
