Anyone in the Cleveland, OH area reading this: stop what you are doing, call all your friends, and make sure you are at the Life & Death in Black & White exhibition opening tonight at The Loren Naji Studio Gallery, 2138 West 25TH Street, 44113. OK, now that you have all the pertinent information, I can tell you why it’s so important you are there. If you’ve been a reader of our art coverage on CVLT Nation, you’ll know about 3/4 of the artists showing there tonight, and you’ll wonder why we haven’t covered the other 1/4 yet (I am wondering that, anyway). This death-centric collection of artwork, curated by James “Human Furnace” Bulloch (Ringworm) and Martin Geramita, features some of the best dark illustrators out there – too many to name, but let’s just say that if you are an appreciator of artwork that is aesthetically, psychologically and emotionally dark and disturbing, you will want to be here. Check out a full gallery of the artists that will be showing their work after the jump…
