L’école de Médecine Vétérinaire in Brussels closed its doors in 1990, and since the day it closed, nothing has left the darkened halls. Apparently the smell of formaldehyde is overwhelming, thick in the air as soon as you walk in the door. Row upon row of mouldering jars fill its shelves, the dust growing ever thicker on their surface as time passes them slowly by. The photos of L’école de Médecine Vétérinaire below tell a macabre story of one of the strangest abandonments on this earth…
