Ah shizz…Seattle’s blackened death metallers, BOOK OF BLACK EARTH‘s new album The Cold Testament will be released on May 24th via Prosthetic Records. I will go on record & tell you their new record is raw as fuck – if you don’t believe me, check out the song “Road Dogs from Hell” from new their album, streaming here. The album was tracked by Chris Common (Pelican, The Sword) at the Red Room Studio in Seattle, and mixed and mastered by Dan Swano (Bloodbath, Nasum, Opeth) at Unisound in Sweden. The cover was done by renowned artist Derek Noble. Today I want to feature the BOOK OF BLACK EARTH in-studio video. Not only are these dudes blackened rippers, but they have a great sense of humor.
