Incoming: Blood of the Wolf Fest II

In case you missed the smashing first edition a couple years back, good news, folks: Blood of the Wolf fest has returned for a second, deadlier volume. Based out of Lexington, Kentucky, and expanding now to 2 days’ worth of eclectic underground mayhem, BOTW made a lasting impression on the region the first go around with its intimate live setting and diverse range of high quality acts. The second edition looks to replicate that experience and then some.

Taking place in just under a month’s time (March 26th-27th), BOTW will also feature a pre-fest the night of the 25th that figures to be one hell of an appetizer with the likes of FaithXtractor, Manic Scum, and newly formed Pyromancer, whose debut demo has made waves at home and abroad. Sure to be a rager, this first night will set the stage for two full days of utter sonic devastation headlined by underground legends Ares Kingdom and Shitfucker, respectively.

Not to be missed, however, are other up and coming acts like hometown heroes Tombstalker, fresh off the release of their debut album Black Crusades, heavy metal aficionados Savage Master and Sorcery Divine, black metal stalwarts Apochryphal Revelation, Vimur, and Fin, doom dealers Temple of Void and Night Magic(formerly Hour of 13!,) and many more spanning the spectrum of the American underground. Perhaps needless to say at this point, BOTW offers a little something for everyone and for those who already know, is an event not to be missed. Buy or die!
