How Creative Can A Punk Get?
The Hyper Realistic Art Of Kelsey Henderson

Kelsey Henderson is Brooklyn-based artist whose hyper realistic paintings of punks are out of this world! I would like to show you every one of her paintings because they are that rad! You can tell that her images were created by someone who has immersed themselves in the culture, because her work bleeds honesty. Kelsey has also flipped the script and turned her paintings into imaginary magazine covers with thought-provoking text. This creative whirlwind is also a video director, plus she has one of the sickest lines of pins I have seen in a long time – check them out HERE! Kelsey was just interviewed by one of favorite webzines, Sang Bleu, read it HERE to find out first hand what inspires her to create the way she does. Her paintings pack the power of an Amebix riff with the beauty of a Venice Beach sunset – both of these are some of my favorite things!

Painting on top of existing photographs is mind-blowing awesome! Taking credit for other peoples photographs sourced online is not.
