Hate Runs Black…END REIGN Review

I know how I like my hardcore: well done & blackened with anger! Well, END REIGN, from Durham, England, serves me up the dark fix I need with their new 7 inch, out now via FITA/Hemlock 13/Witch Hunter/Holy Roar Records, in very limited run, plus the art is created by CVLT Nation extended family member GIVE UP. So check it out, the four songs on this record are sick as fuck & for sure one of them will make it on to Vol. 4 of Blackened Everything. The bass lines that END REIGN creates are super thick, and have a demonic groove to them that keeps your neck snappin! The vocals on this 7 inch sound like werewolves ripping apart bones & flesh. The kind of music that this band conjures up charges through your bloodstream & makes you want to howl at the fucking moon. These dudes are putting their cold souls into every song, you can hear & feel their hateful conviction punch through the speakers. The riffs on this 7 inch are in one mode only, & that is attack mode. What really gets me about END REIGN is the melodic murder rhythm which fucking keeps my head banging. Also, they let you know even ghouls have feelings too, because through all of the angst, they hit these tones with their music where blackened emotion is in the air for sure!
