Some “fandoms” seem a little strange to me – like Supernatural or Sherlock – whereas others seem totally natural in their obsession, like Star Wars. These seminal space flicks have had a huge impact on the generations to follow, and I completely understand why – because they are fucking rad movies that tap into humanity’s dreams of exploration, flight, battle and discovery in space. In fact, I only know one person who has never seen the Star Wars trilogy, and it is my life’s goal to force her to sit through it. I don’t know if I am fan enough to permanently imprint Star Wars on my skin, but I have to admire a lot of these tattoos for the artistry and movement they capture.
