One of the biggest punk bands to come out of the UK during the 80’s was DISCHARGE. They didn’t only influence punk from their country – the power of d-beat became a worldwide thing that still lives on today! That’s the thing; DISCHARGE created a genre unto themselves that would only grow with each passing decade. I remember when they first came out I had just missed their first Los Angeles show. Meaning that when I did see them, they were starting to head in a metal direction, ie. their Grave New World album which I grew to really dig. Anyway, my loyalty to DISCHARGE lives on to this very day. This is why our favorite tumblr right now is FUCK YEAH DISCHARGE. It’s full of rare pictures, patches and tees, plus it’s all about DISCHARGE so it must be rad! Peep the whole Dis-Gallery after the jump!… The Nightmare Continues!
