Tom Denney‘s work is well known in metal; he has drawn for bands like Weedeater, St. Vitus, Cannibal Corpse, Kylesa and too many more to name. He creates epics with his illustrations; massive sagas that fill the page with technicolor radness. Maybe it’s because there is something about his illustrations that reflects your innermost demons back at you. He captures symmetry and chaos at the same time – it’s like looking into your brain with all synapses firing, creating a Rorschach test with your mind. There are so many details to take in, but at the same time, your mind makes sense of them, visualizing the whole and its parts all at once. He has reinvented psychedelic imagery, and creates artwork that pays tribute to psychedelic poster art, but is completely original. I pulled a lot of images from his site, which you can check out after the jump, but he has a lot more on his site that are just as awesome.
