Dark Arts Ritual…
Black Twilight Circle/Mutilation Rites
Now Showing

One of the most important things to me is being able to express myself, or seeing other humans express themselves in a way that brings something awesome to the world. Their are groups of California natives who have bonded together to create black metal in way that only they can. They go by the name Black Twilight Circle, which actually is an an interwoven pack of people who make up different bands within the Circle. What I really dig about them is the way that they stretch the genre of black metal to encompass more than just the norm, but they do it in such a way that it never seems contrived. Black Twilight Circle are true to themselves so therefore the music that they create is also true and highly original. They have been on an East Coast tour recently, bringing their special live rituals to the hordes that have come out to witness Black Twilight Circle experience. Kuxan Suum and Shataan performed at the Acheron in Brooklyn, and
Mutilation Rites wrecked shop with them. All three of these amazing sets were captured by (((unartig))). So after the jump, check out the the dark arts of Black Twilight Circle and Mutilation Rites!
