I can’t see the sun shining any more; maybe it’s because I have Portland’s Black Chalice blasting out of my speakers. This sick Blackened Death/Doom band put out a self-released tape entitled Years of Flame, which is being re-released via Singularity Publishing in the near future. This band has been able to meld different genres together to create something that is sonically awesome. Black Chalice’s music drips with slow-moving filthy emotion that will get inside you, all the way down to your bones. Instead of me writing about how killer this band is, it’s our honor to be able to stream their album Years of Flame in full. So now it’s your turn to hear Black Chalice, and allow them to damage your braincells!
