CVLT Nation Premieres LOW FLYING HAWKS “Ruins”

LOW FLYING HAWKS hail from Mexico and bring a unique and compelling take on doom/drone with their upcoming album Kofuku on Magnetic Eye Records. Their sound is deep and pulsing like good doom/drone should be, but then they add in some fuzzy, almost shoegaze elements that take it to the next level. Today we’re streaming the track “Ruins” off Kofuku, and you can definitely hear a wide range of influences, brought together by excellent musicianship and featuring some heavy hitters, like Trevor Dunn (Mr Bungle, Melvins) and Dale Crover (Melvins, Nirvana) on drums, as well as production by Toshi Kasai of Big Business.
