Ides of Gemini are a captivating experience; there is a serene power to their sound. Sera Timms, J. Bennett and Kelly Johnston are a musical force to be reckoned with, and the blasphemous beauty of their music is brought to life today with our premiere of their video for “Starless Midnight” off their 2012 Neurot/Sige full length, Constantinople. Directed by Romanian sorceress Daciana Birladeanu, this visual is a nuanced visual journey through one of my favorite songs off the album. Like their music, it is bleak and dreamy at the same time, and although shot in black and white there is a warmth to it of fire and human body. Check out this gorgeous video below…
