Roadburn kicked off strongly, with the Belgians’ emotional, passioned display, fully confirming all the great things they did with their second album ‘Har Nevo’.
High on Fire
Matt Pike, looking much healthier than last year with Sleep, was on great form as High On Fire rocked the 013 stage twice, the first set consisting of ‘The Art Of Self Defense’, the band’s legendary first album, performed on its entirety.
Lord Mantis
Nasty, filthy, sludgy blackness – Lord Mantis’ pungent attack is only for the strongest of mind. As their relentless pummeling filled the Stage01 with an aura of malice and violence, it became obvious their show would be one of the weekend’s most intensely savage.
