Aaron Aites and Audrey Ewell are the young filmmakers that took it upon themselves to create the black metal documentary UNTIL THE LIGHT TAKES US. I have watched it a couple of times, and some things in it I found really interesting & thought provoking. I really like the way it is filmed, and it was rad to see interviews with certain players who were a part of the early scene. There are many stories in this film that needed to be heard & documented, but straight up, certain characters like Varg Vikernes & Bard Eithun are not my kind of humans, because I have no tolerance for racists/homophobes; these ways of thinking are against everything we stand for at CVLT Nation. UNTIL THE LIGHT TAKES US as a documentary has way more to offer than the views of those two insignificant non-beings. So after the jump, check out UNTIL THE LIGHT TAKES US in full, and feel free to let me know how you feel about the film!

Your comments are a bit funny considering one of most interesting aspects of the film are the interviews with Varg, which is also something that helps separate it from any other doc about this subject.
