BLACK MARE “Tearer”

Music means many different things to me and has served so many different roles in my life – this is why my love for it has never died! Sometimes you hear songs that speak to the fragile parts of your humanity and help make you strong again. Then there are times when a singer’s voice floats all around your mind and puts you in a dream state while you are awake. Well when you hear the amazing new record by BLACK MARE entitled Field of the Host, you will realize that you have just found your new favorite singer! For 35 minutes, Sera Timms voice will sweep you away into her universe where you will reflect on your own reality! I can’t tell you why exactly, but Field of the Host is a very majestic, haunting record that has vast amounts of sonic healing power. The BLACK MARE album is being released via The Crossing Zine on March 20th and you can pre-order it here now. It’s our honor to be streaming “Tearer” by BLACK MARE below – make sure to check out the details for the Field of the Host listening event//photo exhibition taking place at Vacation Vinyl on March 15th. This going to be one of our favorite pieces of wax we get all year and will be played on the daily in the CVLT Nation HQ!
