I’m a HUGE fan sewing patches on my vest and turning them into battle jackets. Also, I love watching my life partner/wife paint our leather jackets and turn them into pieces of wearable art! I also find enjoyment looking at how other metal heads or punks have taken the time to create their own versions of underground expression. Peter Beste is a photographer I respect on many different levels, one being the way he uses his camera to help expose the world to underground youth culture. He is now traveling the world taking photos of battlejackets for an upcoming and unfinished book, and today we’re bringing you a preview of what he is working on below…You never know, Peter might be in your city soon taking photos of your vest or leather jacket…
