Last time I was in Vancouver, I was digging around in my parent’s storage closet and I came across a box of my Dad’s old beer steins. I remember being fascinated with them as a child (foreshadowing my love of beer), and finding those dusty old treasures brought me back. Well, I’ve found a new one for his collection by the Japanese clothing brand Neighborhood that I’m sure my Mom will hate even more than the ones hidden away in their house. Neighborhood has made a beer stein for their 2011 collection, with a swiveling Devil’s head on the front of it. My favorite part about it is the slogan on the back, “Never put off tomorrow what you can do today” – definitely the Canadian philosophy when it comes to drinking beer (or anything). To match they have made a rad skull ashtray, with “Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust” written inside it. So when you are happily drinking and smoking, you can remind yourself of your impending death. Thanks Neighborhood! Check out the photos after the jump…
