Do you want to hear the sound of slow-moving, black, rotting death in your ears? All you have to do is pick up a copy of the new Alkerdeel, entitled Morinde, out now via Consouling Sounds. This record is 41 minutes of pure demented suicide sludge that will turn your happiest day into evil times ten. Stay tuned for a full review, but right now, it’s time to talk about the cryptic visuals for their song “Hessepikn”. With this video, Alkerdeel allows the viewer to see into their blackened thought process; plus the way the whole thing was filmed only adds to how fucked up these humans really are. The music of this song acts as a soundtrack to a live painting of the album cover on a brick wall. I’m not going to give everything away, but I will say, smoke, then see where your brain goes. Alkerdeel will be wrecking shit at this year’s Roadburn, which will be covered by CVLT Nation, so stay tuned for that footage! As for right, now peep the “Hessepikn” video below!
