DEADWOOD LEATHER is an awesome leather goods brand out of Stockholm, Sweden who take vintage leather goods and recycle them into rad new leather jackets and bags. As the proud owner of one of their biker jackets, I can say that of all my vintage leather, theirs is the sexiest and my staple. And the fact that I’m supporting a couple of guys who are living their dream, plus recycling some old and probably hideous 80s leather blazer makes me feel good and a little less guilty about sporting dead cow. Deadwood started small, and is now outgrowing their Stockholm studio, but its fucking hard to get to that next level without bowing down to the money dicks who run the world. So they’re trying a different tactic – reach out to the global community for financial backing to help them build a new workshop in Bangkok, Thailand, where they source many of their vintage leather garments at flea markets.
