Here on CVLT Nation we have a huge appreciation for occult cinema, and LUCIFER RISING, directed by Kenneth Anger, is an occult classic film that will be watched by many generations to come. It will continue into the future, taking people on bizarre spiritual journeys into the chasms of their own minds, opening up the doors of fear and faith one after the other into infinity. It is a multi-sensory experience, and conveys the occult in a way that is beyond reason and explanation. It must be seen to be believed, because anything I write here won’t compare to the visual symphony Anger created with LUCIFER RISING. Watch it after the jump…

One of the all time transcendental experiences of magick caught on film. And the story behind the soundtrack, Manson associate “Bobby” Beausoleil recording it in prison, is heavy. A true classic.

Also featuring Bobby Beausoleil of the Manson Family prior to his imprisonment for murder. Very cool.
