Gay Kiss – Fault LP
Review + Full Set
Now Showing!

I’ve been a fan of Gay Kiss for a while, and their first full length entitled Fault only reinforces how good this band is. Gay Kiss is from Phoenix, Arizona and they jam out 9 tracks of badass noisy hardcore tunes on their 17-minute long LP. The guitar work is fuckin’ excellent, as it combines some good old hardcore punk riffs with a lot of distorted noisy aesthetics that actually keep you interested in listening. That’s something that I can’t say for a lot of other bands. The bass lines are chunky and distorted and work flawlessly with the guitar. No pretentious bullshit here. Oh yeah, the vocals and drumming are bad ass as well. Fault came out in December 2012 on Anxiety Machine Records (buy it here) and it looks like 2013 will be a tight ass year for this band. Don’t miss ’em if they come around because their live show is just as impressive. Check it out for yourself on the video after the jump. Highly recommended.

Saw ’em last month in Pittsburgh, yeah it was a cool experience.  Pretty sure what they played wasn’t quite as long as this video, though… (at least, it seemed shorter than that)
