This collection of songs is meant to reflect the DNA of Witch Mountain. Many are tunes that Rob Wrong and I have obsessed over for years, while some are newer jams that more recently caught our ears. Overall, I believe that if all of this music was stirred into a giant sonic cauldron, the results would sound a lot like us. Since I’m also a DJ, I arranged the songs in an order that really flows. (Mixtapes can be so eclectic and jarring.) I wanted to make something that’s worth listening to more than once. My one regret is that in order to preserve the vibe, I couldn’t fit in a Vektor track. So after you’re done listening to this, go buy Outer Isolation. It rules, and I know my band mates agree. – Nathan Carson
