When asked to assemble a mixtape, one is faced with the choice to compile either a pretty straightforward and one-dimensional mix of songs that you like or have influenced you, OR assemble the complete opposite. I’ve chosen the latter. Pretty incoherent at first, but these are songs that stuck in my head. Melodies that evoke memories or song structures that have left their mark on my songwriting. Some are classic, some are unpolished diamonds and some are…well…obscure. Some songs were written by friends, others by people I admire and look up to. I hope you enjoy this.
