Sonic Cathedrals Vol. LXV
Curated by Ides of Gemini

CVLT Nation is very excited to release Sonic Cathedrals Vol. LXV by Ides of Gemini today. From the first time we heard their album Constantinople, it has been getting constant spins in our HQ. So when they said they were down to curate a mixtape, we jumped at the chance. I’ve got to say that Ides of Gemini showed and proved with an epic mixtape! Read what the band has to say below, then download this audio gem and tune in!

With a few exceptions, the majority of these artists have very little in common—other than the fact that we like them. But the songs themselves all share a common trait: An atmosphere of otherworldliness that has the power to transcend time and space. Which is very much what we aspire to in Ides Of Gemini. Obviously, there are a few household names included here. Others—like Yoga, the Nocturnes and VUM—are known only to a few. (The latter two have kindly agreed to play at our record release show later this month.) But the hypnotic thread is maintained—onwards, upwards, astrally and forever. Hopefully you’ll enjoy following it as much as we do.
