Have you ever come face to face with black magic? When I stare at photos taken by Alan Hunter, something takes over my mind. This Seattle photographic wizard seems like he actually captures the spirit of the beings that he photographs. A week ago, he was on hand at the amazing show featuring Chasma, Alda, Addaura and Alcest, where he took unreal photos. CVLT Nation is way beyond stoked that our homie Alan Hunter gave us the heads up about these flicks and said it was cool to share them with our readers! So come travel with us into a world where blackness is the only light that shines…check the full Alan Hunter photo essay after the jump.

The band looks interesting. I like the motion photography too. There seems to be an absence of blasphemy, intolerance, hatred, sodomy (!!!) and mockery of those who adore life at the expense of transcendent goals. Were these not photographed? All praises to the Dark Lord (He Who Rules The Essence as the Instance Burns).
