The sun does not shine any more, and all I hear is hate. I’m listening to the 1st demo from NOOSE, entitled Death and Hatred to All, and unholy triple fuck, this Rhode Island band is extra ultra diseased! I know the kind of demented/deranged black metal I dig – it’s fucking raw as fuck with punk rock claws, and this band injects me with the dope shit on every song. When I blast NOOSE, I have visions of all of my haters sliding down hillsides of huge rusty razor blades head first into giant vats of acid, and NOOSE is the soundtrack to their demise. NOOSE does not make music to put you in touch with the peaceful things in life, because they shed the darkest of light on the way we all see reality. The thing that makes this band so awesome is that they know how to write songs that are full of primal torment, but at the same time have grey clouds of empathy floating over them. NOOSE creates music that gives me the energy I need to get through all of the fake shit I encounter on a daily basis. Their song “Nihiist” starts off with somber emotive riffs that open up your mind unto a valley of dispair before turning into a hurricane of sonic filth. I know many people might hear this band’s music and just say it’s a bunch of noise, but trust me, when you go deep under the surface, you will hear rivers of blackened melody raging through every song. On songs like “Blasphemer,” you will be slapped in the face with putrid punk rock angst as the band races through this gnarly tune. The production is on some straight made-in-the-gutter shit, just the way it should be, and the vocals sound like audio vomit coming out of the mouth of a mass murderer. This is a band that you will be hearing more from on CVLT Nation for sure! We are super stoked that you can download & stream NOOSE’s demo, Death and Hatred to All, below!
