When Caligari Records’ release of The Hyle’s demo landed on our desk in 2014, we knew we were hearing something special. These Denmark doom wizards had conjured the kind of moody riffle that makes our days fun here at the HQ. Just the other day, we were discussing this prodigal band when they reached out to us to see if we’d stream their EP, and we said hell yes! What they’re offering to the world is two tracks of dark, oozing melody that seep into your pores and takes over your being.
