Master of Gore…
Defame

There’s something about a detailed pen and ink piece that I can’t resist – especially when its subject matter concerns skulls, goats, tentacles, eyeballs and anything evil looking. DEFAME is an artist whose work speaks to my love for all things gore; his lines drip and ooze across the page, coalescing to form demonic imagery, rife with death and evil incarnate. There is a high level of detail, kept clean by his use of sharp contrast with both black and white inks. He is a master of framing, creating images that are filled with intense movement and yet restrained, never going overboard with his texture and elements. His work is clearly influenced by greats like Mark Riddick, but he takes his own path to Hades. We’re stoked to carry some of DEFAME’s offerings on the CVLT Nation Bizarre, including originals of his illustration work as well as silkscreened prints, t-shirts and tote bags. Check out some of his work below and find the rest in his portfolio here
