Tribes of Melbourne
80’s Punk Documentary

Tribes of Melbourne is an interesting look at what kids from from the Australian underground had to deal with. It’s pretty rad that Tina McQuade and Steve Goddard had the foresight to capture the scene that was happening around them in Melbourne. Without this sort of film, all that would be left would be the old stories of the 80’s Australian scene. When I look at this documentary, I realize that kids worldwide were feeling the same way, frustrated and disenfranchised, and this is why the culture spread like wildfire…Now check out Tribes of Melbourne below…you’ll be treated to performances from some rad bands of the day.
