Walking into darkness, the damp, cold rock walls surrounding me with a suffocating chill, the echos of distant waters breaking the thick silence…and then suddenly the earth opens up underneath me, and I free fall into the abyss, the molten heat rushing up at me, my inevitable incineration breaking my fall. Listening to the first track off of Timeworn‘s upcoming LP Luminescent Wake, “A Fire Warning,” this is the journey I take in my mind’s eye.
