I still remember my first laser show at the Planetarium in Vancouver – Led Zeppelin III. I was 16 and it was fucking amazing. I was high as fuck. Now I may be older, but the stoner in me still hasn’t lost her appreciation for a good laser show; but now I’d like something a little more sinister, but still with that psychedelic story telling effect. Enter SPACE WITCH, whose self-titled album, coming out via Orchestrated Dystopia Records on August 2nd, would perfectly suit my needs. It’s a weird and dark journey, at times uplifting and at times suffocating. Listening to the two 30+ minute epics that make up Space Witch is like taking a magic carpet ride through Hades while high on acid. Check out “Worship the Void” and “The Alchemy Paradox” below and also a rad video they made as a teaser for the album…pre-order here!
