Bob Walden has been a freelance NYC legal photographer for over 20 years, and he recently decided to put out a book of his photographs which document accident injuries for plaintiff negligence cases. His Kickstarter didn’t reach it’s goal, but maybe if enough weirdos (like us…and you?) are interested in the amazing photos his book Bob Walden: Negligence Photography would contain, he’ll do another one. In the context of a legal battle, these images are stark and disturbing, but taken out of context they are grotesque yet beautiful, the kind of real imagery many contemporary art photographers try to mimic. There is a drama and a story in the scars and wounds that marr these human bodies – not only of their past, but of their future.
