Zbigniew M. Bielak Artworks Spotlight

What happens when a Polish architect gets into the making of black metal artwork? Zbigniew M. Bielak, that’s what happens. Working with bands like Mayhem, Ghost (their last album), Behemoth, Paradise Lost, Vader and Watain (the artwork of “Lawless Darkness” may be his most famous one), he made a name for himself –a well-deserved name in my opinion. I find, as many do I suppose, some of his work to be close to the engravings of Doré or Dürer, or at least the same occult feeling, especially with the mysterious doors from the Watain album. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. You can buy some of his work here.
